Toronto’s Don Valley Parkway and Gardiner Expressway shut down due to ‘extreme weather,’ police say

Toronto police are quickly remaining the Don Valley Limited-Access Highway and Gardiner Parkway, two of the city’s leading arteries, due to the “excessive weather” Monday.

Police stated in a tweet all ramps will also be closed to assist transfer automobiles that may be caught on the roads already and to allow snow plows to clear the routes.

Police have steered citizens to “stay house and off the roadways” if imaginable.

“if you have to trip, please take your time. ensure you might have an entire tank of gasoline, heat apparel and emergency provides,” they said in a tweet.
