As a Black lesbian from the southern U.S., i’ve experienced my justifiable share of discrimination. i find that P.E.I. isn’t unique in having its own variety, equity and inclusion challenges; but what makes it unique is the overall willingness to recognize the reality that issues are present. And there may be a genuine desire to do higher.
