Beijing 2022 officially gets underway Friday with opening ceremony

The rite will start at 8 p.m. local time (7 a.m. ET), and there are some ways to observe whether you might be at home, at paintings or on the cross.

Viewers can watch the display beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET via the live flow above, or the special are living streams under, or on CBCSports.ca, the CBC Sports Activities app and CBC Gem.
